Why chose E.J. To speak at your next event
There are many wonderful, competent, qualified Godly speakers that share my passion for Teens and Parents. As a result, instead of comparing speakers to speakers, let me highlight some of ways God has specifically wired me for ministry. If these characteristics match the type of speaker you’re looking for, then fill out our booking request form and let’s talk.
I am passionate about student ministry and that’s evident through my desire for excellence and my relational approach. I love learning names and hearing life stories and that’s why we created SouledOutStudents.com so that we could not only connect at your event but also once SOS heads back home!
- My experience in urban ministry settings gives me an understanding for urban students, their issues, their conflicts, and the best way to reach them.
- My experience in affluent communities has given me an understanding for how to deal with students who are highly competitive and often under-challenged in their faith.
- My experience in Christian camping allows for a smooth and flowing time of learning and fun.
- Our ministry focuses on doing research on the life of your group in order that our message can be personalized while addressing the unique issues your group is facing. If you need a custom made theme or series of sessions, we can do it! We have a series of questionnaires and surveys so that we can better relate to your group of students and their needs!
- We come prepared with what you ask for outlines, media, music, and humor
- Check out our testimonies page and see what others have said
- We are in everyone’s budget!!
What are our booking fees
Call me old-fashioned but I truly believe in a ministerial calling. I cannot picture the apostle Paul turning down a ministry opportunity simply because the church didn’t pay enough!
At SouledOutStudents.com we have several creative options for student ministries in urban settings or with a limited budget. However, let me mention a few possibilities you may want to consider.
- Partner with other student ministries in your area and split the booking fee.
- Try booking me when I am already in your area.
- Seek financial support from private donors. Most churches are blessed with couples whose spiritual gift is giving. Cast your vision and let them respond to it. We love having meals with Donors and Senior Pastors to insure that they are “in the loop” and are aware of what the youth are taking part in!
- Help me Book with another church in your area, in your network of youth pastors, or denomination
I want to follow God’s leadership related to speaking and travel regardless of financial issues. However, because so many church leaders ask for guidance about honoraria and love offerings, I want to share with you the following statement.
Because I am limited on the number of speaking engagements I can accept each year, every event I accept becomes an important part of the financial support for our ministry. While I understand the possibility that your overall budget may create a challenge in meeting some of these figures, my primary desire is to serve God and therefore agree to serve Him! We only ask that you assure that our travel, meals, and lodging requirements be meet and that we may have a time to request for a love offering. We do on occasion attend with no booking fee or love offering.
How much time do we need to book a event
We will reserve an event for you up to two years in advance. We will also schedule an event a few months, a few weeks and sometimes a few days in advance. However, be aware that there is a priority for speaking events that span three to four days. Scheduling single day events is always possible, especially last minute.

What do you speak / preach on
We may have a series of talks that will automatically be a good fit; however we can also create or personalize something just for your event.
