What is SOS.com?

How we got started …

While traveling to camps, conference centers, hotels, and churches to speak to students and parents EJ found an overwhelming amount of questions after each one of his talks. Students would come up to him with many deep questions, and expressing their fear of talking to their own youth leader.

The students were only in contact with EJ for a short period of time. The students would give EJ many reasons why they did not want to talk to their youth leaders. Although EJ loves talking with students, he had a great burden for the disconnect that the students had with leaders and other Christians that they could trust in. EJ was always giving out email addresses of people that they could talk to, and asking leaders to pray for those students who didn’t feel comfortable talking with a leader.

After hundreds of emails EJ created SouledOutStudents.com, a vital resource for students parents and pastors. The bible talks so many times about community as a whole not just a church or domination, therefore we strive to create that community. Through being involved and attentive to as many people as we can!

Beliefs

We strive to be Christ followers!

We believe in

  • Grace alone: God loves the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him, and do not deserve His love. God sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.
  • Faith alone: God suffered and died to substitute His life for all people. Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for everyone. Those who hear the good news and believe it have eternal life that he offers. God creates faith in Christ and Gives people forgiveness through Him.
  • Scripture alone: The bible is God’s inerrant and infallible Word, in which he reveals His law and His gospel of Salvation in Jesus Christ!
  • Mission Statement

Souled out Students exists to be a vital resource for students parents and pastors.

    Vision

Our vision is to communicate the truth of Jesus Christ with the use of today’s modern technology. Through connecting with churches and youth groups and being a resource where you can ask questions, share ideas, and be in community with other Christians. Not through one speaker, but a group of committed followers of Jesus Christ!
